BISHUP Born with the birth name Marcus Curry was a boy who knew he wanted to make a difference in the world. He began singing in front of his family at gatherings. When he got into the sixth grade he found his true love with words in poetry. Through the next couple of years his word play got stronger, he began to sell poems at the neighborhood mall during the holidays. Soon people flocked to his little stand for all occasions. Once he got to high school he began to put melodies behind his words, he found himself writing Gospel, R&B along with Rap. Today Bishup has written and recorded twenty songs and performed in over 100 talent contests and showcase. He gained great reviews from the Kalamazoo Black Arts Festival in Michigan. This artist is not a rapper he is a music maker. There’s more than words on top of beats theirs is a song when you press play. With his commercial style but still rugged when it is needed he is compared to a modern day LL COOL J, grabbing women as well as men with the flip of his tongue.
